Development: 3 new three-bedroom terrace houses

The existing house in the front was contaminated with high levels of methamphetamine. The owner was faced with massive decontamination and repair costs. The owner approached C & L Developments for advice. We assessed the case and explained to the client that it was a much better value to demolish the contaminated house and develop on the land which it sits on. The client took our advice. In order to maximise floor area, the already subdivided sites on Arundel was amalgamated again and developed as a whole section while keeping the rear house intact. We achieved working designs for three new attached terrace houses.

​Construction began in July 2021 and is expected to complete in 12 Months. The biggest challenge will be undertaking the construction work while the owner occupies the rear house.
